Wrecker Service & Towing
Wrecked, dead on a shoulder, or sitting somewhere it can't stay. Leon's Wrecker Service puts a wrecker on cars, pickups, vans and SUVs across Spartanburg County and the Upstate , whether the wheels turn or not.
What This Job Involves
So you know what to tell us when you ring.
Three situations cover most of what we get called out for, and they aren't the same job. A car that died in a parking space loads in minutes. A wreck with a lane blocked and police on scene runs at a different pace and needs different handling. And a vehicle that won't roll at all — seized brakes, a snapped shaft, sitting on its rims — takes gear and time that a runner doesn't. The more of that you can tell us on the phone, the closer the price and the window will be.

What Moves The Price
Four things decide it. Tell us these and we can quote you on the phone.
- Distance How Far It Goes
- Vehicle What You Drive
- Position Where It Sits
- Difficulty What It Takes
We don't post a price list because a vehicle rolled out of a parking space and one dragged up a clay bank are not the same job. What you get instead is the actual number for your actual job, on the call, before a wrecker leaves the yard. Free to ask, no obligation.
Straight Answers
What people ask us most about wrecker service and towing.
How much does an emergency wrecker cost in Spartanburg?
It comes down to how far the vehicle is going, what you're driving, where it's sitting and whether the wheels turn. Give us those four and we'll price it on the call. Free to ask, and no obligation to book.
Can you haul a vehicle that won't roll?
Yes, but say so on the phone. Seized brakes, a broken axle or a car down on its rims all need different gear, and finding that out on arrival wastes your time and ours.
Do you take calls after a wreck?
Yes. Tell us whether it's drivable, whether a lane is blocked and whether police are on scene. Those three answers change what we bring and how fast we need to be there. If anyone is hurt, call 911 first.
How long will it take you to get here?
Depends where you are, the hour and the weather. We answer 24 hours a day, so the time of night is not the problem — distance and conditions are. You'll get a real window on the call, because a better-sounding number doesn't help you standing on a shoulder.
What can you haul?
Cars, pickups, vans and SUVs, domestic and import. If what you need moved is bigger than that, tell us on the phone and we'll say straight away whether we're the right outfit rather than send a wrecker that can't do it.
