Roadside Help, No Hook
Battery gone flat, keys shut in the cab, a tire down or the tank dry. Leon's Wrecker Service comes out across Spartanburg County and the Upstate — and most of these never need a wrecker at all.
What This Job Involves
So you know what to tell us when you ring.
This is the cheapest call you can make to a wrecker service and that's rather the point of it. A jump has you moving in ten minutes for a fraction of a haul. A lockout gets your keys back without a broken window. A spare fitted properly puts you back on the road. If we get out there and the battery won't hold or the wheel is too far gone, we'll tell you that honestly and quote the haul then — but we'd rather try the cheap fix first.

- Work Lots
- Driveways
What Moves The Price
Four things decide it. Tell us these and we can quote you on the phone.
- Distance How Far It Goes
- Vehicle What You Drive
- Position Where It Sits
- Difficulty What It Takes
We don't post a price list because a vehicle rolled out of a parking space and one dragged up a clay bank are not the same job. What you get instead is the actual number for your actual job, on the call, before a wrecker leaves the yard. Free to ask, no obligation.
Straight Answers
What people ask us most about roadside assistance.
What does a roadside call cost?
It depends what the job is and how far we're coming. A jump in town and a lockout twenty miles out aren't the same call. Tell us where you are and what's happened and we'll price it on the phone, free.
Is a jump cheaper than getting hauled?
Considerably, and quicker. That's why we try the roadside fix first where there is one. If it turns out to be more than a flat battery, we'll say so rather than let you get stranded again a mile down the road.
Can you get into my car without damaging it?
Yes. Tell us the year, make and model when you ring — doors open differently across vehicles, and knowing which one we're coming to means we get in cleanly instead of improvising in a car park.
Do I have to be there?
Yes, for roadside work somebody needs to be with the vehicle. For a lockout have your ID and the registration handy so we know the car is yours.
What if I haven't got a spare?
Then it becomes a haul, and we'll quote that instead. Worth checking before you ring — a lot of newer cars carry a sealant kit rather than a wheel, and plenty of spares have been sat flat in the boot for years.
